Christmas tour 2009 - Time for peace
Kor-90 Christmas tour with Grethe Svensen and Gaute Ormåsen together with Østre Toten Storband, Lillehammer Storband, Alna Storband and Kveinndal´n Jazzlag - first show at Kvitvella cinema, Fagernes on 1 December.
The Christmas tour "Time for Peace" is organized by Martin Alfsen who also provides new material for the tour which is based on "Time for peace" and "The soul of Christmas".
Grethe Svensen is one of the soloist on the tour. Her career is versatile and interesting. She sings rock, she attends classic lessons, and has been a soloist for Oslo Gospel Choir in addition to beeing one of the countrys best soul and pop singers with six solo albums and many tours. As a soloist she has sold 130.000 albums.
Gaute Ormåsen contributed on last years album "Time for peace", Kor-90´s sixth album. Gaute is known from Idol where he had his break through.
We are proud of the artists on this years Christmas tour, and promise you an unforgetable evening with big band jazz, gospel and soul. Grethe, Gaute and other great soloists like Liv Ingund Nygård Ødegaard and Silje Aandalen will perform new and exciting versions of wellknown Christmas songs.
